| 31st December 2008 laurie brooks | Happy New Year! - From: A Sick New Year At the Forbidden City Marriot Hi to the Brooks Family, Sorry to hear Zack has been so sick. I hope he is feeling better. It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas in England. I always love visiting London. It must be really pretty with all the holiday decorations. Thanks for the pictures. I like the picture of Heidi and Justin, but I am really not sure about that blonde hair. Justin is very good looking and does not need any improvements in my opinion. Hope you all have a happy healthy New Year. Keep me posted on your travels. We would love to visit China someday. Send along some pictures when you get time. Love, Laurie |
| 31st December 2008 Christina | Thank you and rats - From: A Sick New Year At the Forbidden City Marriot Aaaactually, you're not supposed to "say" thank you in a Chinese restaurant. You're just supposed to tap the table. If you say thank you, that means you're not eating and is actually considered rude. If I learned one thing from my Chinese medicine education, it's how to thank a server. Totally worth it. Ha. :) And the year of the rat is awesome. I'm a rat. Don't judge me. |
