On the 15th, I arrived in Chiang Mai in the early evening. The flight was good and comfortable, and we quickly met with our team leader - Katie. I had already met a girl from Perth called Lauren. After waiting for a while at the airport, the rest of the group arrived, all Australian and mostly from Sydney. We checked into the hotel and went to the Sunday night markets which are so huge, they close off half of the city center. Chiang Mai was once an old brick fortress, and although the walls have degraded and colapsed, the central city still remains in the rectangular shape.
