Today's trip was after 5 hours of hard work this morning, in which I made pretty good progress on the presentation with the Powerpoint chart you saw in the last installment. So, walked out into the looooong corridor outside my room, got into the car, and started driving.... One of the things definitely to remember about the drive from SLC to Park City is the really big outlet center on the way. Then drove some more, got to Park City, and sat on a wonder ful deck at the base of the ski area to have lunch. Got ice cream, and then walked up and down Main Street, which is pretty much nothing more than a bunch of trendy restaurants and art galleries. Food for the physical and spiritual, I suppose. Finally, after much work with difficult packaging, late trucks, and unbelievably long days (today, 11 hours with the team), and this blogging package, here are my first two photos from SLC. Note the beautiful on my computer screen, along with the rugged look of my shoe and jeans leg. Tomorrow to Park City, hopefully some mountain photos, and work some more. One of the reasons we were so long today is that it is becoming clear that we are way behind plan for the second half of the year, and it looks pretty bad. The difficult part is that the data we're looking at is very fuzzy, so figuring out exactly what's wrong, and therefor what to try and do, is hard. Anyway, miss you all... Sorry for the weird format.
