Things had stuff up with my credit card and it had caused me stay longer in Dominican Republic which had shorten my stay in Cuba... Oh well, i did eventually made it to Cuba a few days afterwards. Traveling the communist way was definately a rocky one, i thought it was my last one in all honestly, but eventually i landed safely in havana and then santigo de cuba which everyone applaud because the landing was soo smooth. I was here for a week learning traditional cuban music playing guitar and percussion. I stayed in a old spanish casa within [View Full Entry]

A country that is poor and impoverish, and somehow the people here are desprite to make a living by targeting at tourist. My spanish is not getting any better, but i'm trying my best. Most of the people are african origin, and it seems very hard to hide away. Every comment i get *actually all of the carribeans* has been Chino Chino Chino. I'm kind of use to it but a place with majority being black you tend to stand out! The city here has alot of straid dogs roaming the streets with the bums sitting on the side walk [View Full Entry]

Funny thing about traveling is that you meet a lot of randoms and yourself become part of that experience. About 2 days before i had to leave Puerto Rico, i was about to get sick of the whole experience after visting the El Yunque raing forest with a tour group that consisted with rich americans. I decided to check out one of the only reggea stores on the island. I met Rashonder a girl from Ohio in the US and was living in Puerto Rico. We ended up talking for ages about my travels and her plans of travelling and [View Full Entry]

My expectation now of Puerto Rico has changed since going there and experiencing it. I first thought, an US occupied island, it would be this island which be exploited by american culture. Thou leaving that place i kind of miss the people iÂīve met there and what it had to offer! The people speak english and spanish over here but i have find that they seem to feel more comfortable speaking spanish. Meeting and talking to the locals, i started to realise that they were very different to the US and had a certain independence with their culture to the [View Full Entry]

I would say this has been the most funniest part of my trip and it was only the start, maybe because i so far away from home, or the parties here was wild!! I have never met soo many people in a period of one week in my entire life. The people here are soo friendly and open about everything, it just feels like having a second family. The lifestyle i must say is soo layed back that it feels like a holiday for everyone on this little island. Everyone here is high on weed or dancing somewhere on the [View Full Entry]
