Skiing in Andorra. Seriously, you shouldn't be reading this...you should be looking at the pics. They can much more easily convey how friggin amazing this weekend was. We left at 7:30pm Friday from the center of Barcelona on a bus with 2 other people in my program and a bunch of other Spaniards. About 30 minutes in we stop for gas, and an hour in we stop (for an hour) at the random bar in the middle of no where. The stench at this bar was beyond anything words can describe. The first week with the fam: As I may have mentioned to many of you, I opted to say with a family when I came to Barcelona. Unfortunately, there was a communication problem and I wound up in the lovely apartment which I already overly-dramatically described. Luckily, the folks at CIEE are very accommodating and immediately started working with me to get me in a homestay. I am sorry that this must be quick, I will write a longer entry about my new living situation soon, but I can hardly stay awake right now. I just got back from a flamenco performance and it was incredible. Again, CIEE was amazing hooking us up with front row seats, free drinks, time to hang with the band, etc. I swear to you the guitar player was one of the best in the world. Absolutely amazing.
