This led us to a place called Railey in Krabi Tonsai to be more precise. This wonderful town is known all over the world for having some very excellent rock climbing. Although not an island it very much feels like http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/South-West-Thailand/Railay/blog-423847.html Thailand a go go So after 1 month of finding my own way through Indonesia I was getting a bit weary of making new friends all the time and sometimes eating alone. And then Poof Kristi got a new job and had some time to spare before her 1st day. So we decided Thailand would be a fun switcharoo. My 1st night in Bangkok was in the Very Backpacker Khao San Road. I thought this would be a fun place to meet likemin http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/blog-423841.html I'm on a boat Greetings computer dwellersI type this blog from a steamy stinky internet cafe in the gushing noisy rain of BANGKOK Thailand. How did I end up here The fun of improv travel of course But first I will tell you of my voyage on a boat through Indonesia. After baking and lounging in the Gili islands for almost a week I was ready for something a little bit supercharged. I was hoping to find this ad http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Komodo/blog-421096.html KiteSurfing to Komodo Hello friendsI hope all is well with all of you. It appears that the blog emails are not automatically sending to you folks. That is a shame. I will try to fix but I am sorta clueless as to where to begin. Anyway let it be known that this blog post will not be full of extreme adventures and cultural shocks. So if you are only reading this to see pictures of me wading through piles of bat poop or http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Lombok/Gilli-Trawangan/blog-416053.html IndoWhat Ahoy FriendsAs many of you know I am in Indonesia. I thought it looked cool but it seemed a bit farfetched. Besides I pretty much already have that job making video games near the beach. Then I received 2 MORE emails sent from different friends suggesting the same thing. The factory provided a nice insite into the chocoworld not to mention some free sweats. yum. The streepest street gave me an oppurtunity to run off those extra calories. We also ran into some english friends from over a month ago at the beginning of our traveling in australia. http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/South-Island/blog-349781.html Sea Lion Sneezes hi. my name is brad. i am in new zealand. and we have seen yet even more cool stuff. Yesterday we finished up the adventure city of Queenstown with the famous Gondola. This is the launching spot for several hot activities. Bunjee parasail etc. It is essentially a modern indoor skilift sort of thing to the top of a very large hill. Of course it cost way too much and being hte ultrafit people we http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/South-Island/Dunedin/blog-349780.html Skeee so we have arrived in the adventure capital of the world Queenstown New Zealand. This town has more insane activities than i have even heard of all gathered together in one tremendous Lifes shortplay hard sorta town. For starters this is where A.J. Hackett invented bunjee...so we went to this sacred birthplace and watched a few blokes tumble off a bridge. Did we do it no. we both have told http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/South-Island/Queenstown/blog-349778.html ICE howdy hey So we have shuffled down the coast abit to a city called franz josef. This is a very tiny town sitting at the edge of a glacier...with the primary function of getting people up there and hiking around...so thats just what we did today. We all geared up and did a walk to what they call the Terminal Face of the glacier. This is where the ground meets the ice. Our guide explained a few int http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/South-Island/Franz-Josef/blog-349777.html New Zealand begins hello friends me and lara have arrived in new zealand. As anticipated the coldness factor is great. We flew into the social hub of auckland in the north islandnew zealand is made up of 2 islands and then flew into the very english city of christchurch. Yesterday we converged upon new zealands largest http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/South-Island/Christchurch/blog-349774.html "Free" beach Yes its true. My days in this giant landmass are finally ending. We had a few extra days in the city of darwin...which for the joe's should maybe ring a bell....as it was an important city in WW2. It was bombed several times trying to fend off the asian menace.... But anyway...we have made the best of this time. For the first time in my tender life...I have partaken in a Free Beach....which you ma http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Northern-Territory/Darwin/City-of-Darwin/blog-349772.html Kakadu inspiration ah shucks...i truley wish i could be in several places at once. Cause there is no question i would love to attend the float trip even though i am surrounded by deep sea diving and outback safari's. If another one happens towards the end of august i am game. This time we were in the tropical Top End of australia in some of the largest national p http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Northern-Territory/Kakadu-National-Park/blog-349771.html The Outback elo all The more days of adventure have passed in the outback. This segment was mainly a transport type trip from the middle of australia to the top end. Being that it was a long trip we were put into a big comfortable bus with lots of people from all over the world. The most interesting combination of people we had were some israeli soldiers and some u.s. navy and air force men. At one point in t http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Northern-Territory/Katherine/Katherine-Gorge/blog-349770.html Kangaroo Splat g'day blokes and sheila's So the journey continues. We have left the cosmopolilife of sydney and arrived in the Red Centre otherwise known as the Outback. This is a truely a vast and desolate area. Almost no water or life for thousands of kilometers in all directions from the center. I don't know how much ya'll know about australia...but the super short history lesson is australia was a prison f http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Northern-Territory/Alice-Springs/blog-349769.html Blue Mountains and Biftek elo friends strange the lull and surge of the blog. i thought for sure there would be mounds of backblog for me to sludge through. tis ok though. i blog on. It was a long overnight bus journey on a bus and then onto a train which took us into the beautiful blue mountains. These are the main mountain ranges and cliffs of australia. Very dramatic and the home of the famous rock formation 'The 3 Sis http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/New-South-Wales/Blue-Mountains/blog-349766.html Surfs up Greetings friends today we are finishing up our time in the hippie alternative lifestyle town of Byron Bay. It is a very small town centered around relaxation and surfing....but mostly surfing. Lots of strange dirty people wandering around the beaches and hemp shops and plenty of hot bods hitting the waves. We are staying at a hostel called The ARts Factory.
