Well we're in Phnom Penh now adn I really have to say that I think I really like this place. It's much poorer than Thailand but the people are so kind and I've fallen in love with some kids we went to visit today at an orphanage. They have to be the most loving kids 've ewver met. Then don't ask for anything and all they want to do is play and talk with you and ask you so many questions about you. Well still here in Thailand enjoying the beaches and sun. It's pretty hot but nothing to complain about. We're now in Koh Tao, It's really nice here but a divers dreamland. It's all divers, everywhere. After our last place on Bottle Beach which is really nice and secluded, this is nicer, only better accomodations. man the last place we had just ruined our stay. The first place we checked out was the cheapest on the beach but I just wasn't ready yet to really stay in dirty beds (I'll keep that for India). Well we are now on Koh Samui. It's nice but a bit too much of "resorty" atmosphere for us. Everything's twice the price. So we're not doing much, just chilling around. Only staying here two days, then heading off to Koh Phangan then Koh Tao. Which will most likely be more in our budget range. Weather's good, but very cloudy on the island, which right now I don't mind as I burnt on the ferry ride from the mainland... yes, I look like a raccoon! We'll we've managed to get out of our guesthouse today for a small walk down the Soi. We went for our Thai cooking classes yesterday on a farm outside of Chiang Mai, which was amazing. We then went back home to book our treking tour for the next day .... Well at around 11:00 pm Carolyn started feeling ill and so did I around 4am... so as it was sleepless night, we had to cancel our trek. Well the day has finally come and I'm on my way out of Taiwan in about 15 hours. This is just a quick e-mail to let you know that I will be sending out group e-mails on my adventures as the months go by. I can't explain how it saddens me to leave Taiwan, as it had such an impact on my life. But I guess I'll be making new memories when my travels begin.
