So Carolyn left today at around 1pm. It was sad to see her leave and I'm sure she was sad to leave too. It kinda sucks to wake up in the morning after your last night out on the beach we people you met, take your last swim, and enjoying the stressfree life and have to leave it behind to go back to work... Still on Palolem beach and quite happy about it. Carolyn is leaving in 2 days and I'll still be sticking arounf here for another week or so after her. Liek my last update said, there's not much going on here to keep you updated on. Put here's what we've done so far... 1. Slept in 2. hit the beach for some tanning 3. swam 4. eaten (lots!) 5. drank lots of beer (especially yesterday... 9 am - 7pm... ouch!) That's pretty much it. Finally left Mumbai maybe 3-4 days ago (remember? I have no concept of time..). Took another overnight bus.. which I still have one more to take to get back to Mumbai... Argh! Anyway, this one was just nasty. My bed smelled of urine, someone had previously had a little accident on it before I guess. It was so strong that I just couldn't handle it anymore and found another empty bunk below us, so I slept there... with the cockroaches crawling over me all night... So here we are in Mmbai after hours and hors of bus travels we're heading more South, and the beaches are to come soon! Mmbai is a great city, so many people we met along the way told s bad stories about it and to me they were all wrong. This city is great! So mch to do, friendly people, great food and nice architecture. I have to say thogh that accomodation is quite higher in price but that's what big cities are for right? Well we've finally made or way to Mumbai, the last stretch of hectic city before we head off to Goa fo rthe beaches...FINALLY!!! We left last night at 12:00am, by bus, for the city. We got here arond 9-10am, and I'm glad to say I finally was able to sleep a bit on the bus.. for the those you know me well, I can't sleep on any type of transportation and most of ours was done overnight, so you can imagine how tired I have been in teh past few weeks. Well yet another destination.. We're now in Udaipur, India. Another city around a lake and ghats. I think I like this one better then Pushkar as there are less foreigners and annoying vendors. WE left yesterday mornign from Pushkar to here which took about 8-9 hrs by bus. Another hot and gross bus that they call tourist buses, but why are we always only like 4 tourists on the bus and 50 locals? Argh, it's just annoying, the stares, the blowing kisses, the oooh "say hello" from mother's trying to get their kids to say hi in English to the foreigner [View Full Entry]

Ok, yet another destination... it never ends! I'm just tired right now, you'll now why later.. So we left Delhi maybe 3 days ago (the day after my last e-mail, whever that was). Oh yeah did I mention I have no knowledge of days/dates or time anymore? We went to Jaipur which is a pretty big city too. Our bus ride was quite interesting.. Well here we are, finally, India. Umm, It's not AS bad as I thought it to be. I actually sorta enjoy it alreay, but I can't say for sure as I've only been here a day really, and only in Delhi. We arrived late last night as our flight was delayed for landing because of air traffic.. an hour flying around in circles.. at least we got to see the sunset like what... 5 times. Ok everyone... this is it, the ultimate test.. we're heading out for India tomorrow morning.. YIKES! We have a stop over in Sri Lanka for 4 hrs or so, see what we can get out of it for those few hours.. Well we've just arrived in KL this morning. We ended up being in 3 different countries in less than 24hrs.. not bad. So we haven't done much in KL yet since we're on the hunt for flights to India, which is starting to get a little frustrating because agents are giving us conflicting info. Anyway hopefully by tomorrow we'll have some tickets and we can actually start enjoying KL.
