London Speed Tourist

I had a day on my own to check out the sights of London without Bing. With some fleetfooted tube catching and a jinglyjangly pocket of pound coins I speed through some of London town's favoured points of interest.I give top marks to The Tower of London which is not is high as the Sky Tower which is pretty embarrassing for Britain but still quite cool..It had tons of Bling in it.
Bath had escaped us the first attempt but we were determined to catch it the second time round. The Roman Baths are quite a sightIt's a little bit of a shame that they have been built and rebuilt so many times that it is hard to fathom which parts are old and which is new but the main pool is still quite incredible. There was a bit of a chill in the air and there in nothing we would have liked to

We left Athens and a quick 3 hours later arrived at Paris Orly airport.A little bit of navigation of the Paris tube required before settling in to our new home for the next few days Residence Foch Hotel.I now have a raging headcold and therefore was sent straight to bed under instruction from Doctor Bing.I had a small nap whilst Bing checked out the local 'Shopi' and provided us with a good sup

We are loving our time in Imergovilli even though we can't spell it or pronounce it.Apparantly the place to go for all the scenic postcard type shots you mean we havn't had the really good ones yet is Oia which we saw by boat the other day.Apart from us hard core kiwi adventurers who have been walking everywhere most people seem to use donkey or quad bike to get around. Not wanting to be ou

Kirsty decided all this lying around was getting a bit much and we needed to get off our rears and actually do something. So we bought tickets on a boat called the Albatros and headed off for a day around the island. The boat stopped first at the Volcano which we climbed.. because it was there then off to a hot water bay where we all lept off the boat into the water as there was no pier.
There's nothing like standing in a windy field with about 300 other people staring at some rocks except Stonehenge.Nice if they had finished it and put up a roof but otherwise I give the English an 'A' for effort.Hauling these rocks 384km from the coast was obviously the original 'Rock Roll' so I imagine it was the thing to do on a Saturday night back in 3000BC.Unfortunately no matter how drunk

Well hello there folks..We have been having a few quiet days in Cambridge with family and friends so we don't have an awful lot to write really. We have been very well looked after though Rich has decided that eating 35 meals a day yes he likes to exagerate is just too much for him and has cut his food down to just eating lunch. These brits know how to eat or I think maybe it more because
