hey all Looks like you guys are having a great trip. Can't believe how big Chris is getting! I know, I never met him yet, but can't believe it all the same. The the picture of him in the tree. I'm sure you are having a great trip! I'm sure with all the places you are going this will be a learning experience you or chris will never forget. Have fun.
lots to see Yes there has definately been lots to see, I am glad that we have wifi at this campground so I'll be able to post quite a bit more over the next few days. The rest of SC and some from Georgia and FL.
Our Destination Sounds like you are full timers....no we aren't in the cape cod area during that time. Thank you for the good wishes though and perhaps you will find a few suggestions in this blog along the way that you would wish to visit or that bring back memories :-) We mainly started this blog so that family members can keep up with our travels but you are welcome to come along for the ride. Our goal is to see as much of the US as possible during the 8 months before my daughters wedding which will be trip part 1....we started going from CT to SC, then to Acworth, GA visiting family, then around Florida starting with the East coast and working our way around the coast to Pensacola....then on to LA for a week, TX for a month, then up to St. Louis and Kansas City, back down through Kansas and OK, over to CO, NM, AZ,UT, NV,CA and up the West coast to OR, WA, British Columbia, ID, Montana, WY, SD and finishing up with Iowa, and the Deerborn,MI and Gettysburg,PA...we will basically be full time for the next 8 months but fortunately both my boyfriend and I have a fixed income, him with 2 pensions and me with SS survivors,so we won't have to work. After my daughters wedding it will be trip part 2 before finding a place in TN to settle down. We both wanted to see the US and we figured that this is the time to do it before getting tied down to another mortgage. sorry that this took so long to respond to but we were busy preparing for xmas and our trip and then we have had limited internet so far...thank you for your interest and take care
Hello Bob, Kam and Casper I stumbled on your blog this morning. I read your bio and it sounds like you are starting out on a great adventure. I can't wait to read what you are up to. It does not say where you are starting your trip. We are in the US. We work interim assignments around the country. We are on Cape Cod until March so if you head this way before March contact us and we will buy you dinner.
