Puppets The photos resonate with me. Growing up in Baltimore in the early 1950s, when television was just being introduced, I watched a local show called "Paul's Puppets" 6 pm weeknight. The faces and characters were reminiscent of the puppets you saw.
Blog Hi Bill & Nancy, as always I absolutely look forward to your lovely pictures and articles from places you have been. You both look great and it is so obvious you are enjoying like. God bless Judy

I am so happy for you to be able to enjoy such a blessed life. Thanks for sharing.....Judy
A lovely day, a pleasant forest path beside a beautiful steam, good companions, good drink and a relaxing afternoon
A Perfect Sunday Afternoon Sounds like you walked before 4-5 miles round trip. That may not be long by some standards, but it sounds like a sufficient distance on a warm sunny afternoon, especially since a beverage break was included! Nice to connect with friends from England and Scotland, too, in what sounds like a lovely Czech place to be. Common ground for kindred spirits!
A Raging Battle I had no idea of the battle...and only faintly remember studying the Thirty Years War as a history undergraduate . Vaguely recall the war-ending treaty or peace of Westphalia. You do get around!
Interesting Didn't know they did reenactments over there as well.
Sounds like you are finding interesting things to see and do once again.
Good to hear from you,
Virginia
Opera in the Woods Your words made the 1-mile trek over hill and dale seem alluring and worth the effort...and then the photos appeared to help me savor the food, the actors and the experience. Next best thing to being there! Thank you.
Ah, great news Good to hear that more knowledgeable and empathetic scholars and pastors are going to serve so many varied communities. I know the need is great for these types of folks everywhere. Thanks for sharing your news with us and your talents with the staff and students, Bill and Nancy!
Your Joy It is easy to see why you enjoy going to Prague and how much you have profited from knowing each of these people. Indeed they have beautiful families.
appreciation Thank you for including me in your wonderful Godly experience. You are certainly following God's will for using your talents. I am so happy that I have renewed our friendship. God is good. I will keep you in my prayers.

so many you know when getting there. Be watching for the next blog.
Nice to hear from you. All sounds like you are content and things are going well. I'll pass this info along to the class. Hot and humid here with rain expected for a few days.
Glad you had a safe trip Good to hear from you again. I enjoyed our visit on the phone before you left.
Enjoy your stay and keep sharing your experiences.
We had a category 1 hurricane named Isaac blow through on Thursday and had a lot of rain. Fortunately, there was no major damage around here. The folks in the New Orleans area and MS Gulf Coast did not fare too well with 20" of rain in less than 24 hours.
Look forward to hearing from you again.
Virginia
Glad Glad that your trip was so easy. I know it was such fun meeting old friends and feeling so welcome. Bill's lead extraction is scheduled for October 25 and Shannon will come and stay through the weekend. Looking forward to more vicarious trip with you.

Men at work and being jaunty
Were they nondescript fellows or famous? In Dublin recently we saw a sculpture of Oscar Wilde sitting on a bench.
