East London to Mdumbi (Transkei)

This was a short 2 day weekend trip.
We had to do something to ensure sanity before the normal daily chores of earning a living took its final toll.

The route was a combination of all types of roads, ranging from tar, a Ferry river crossing, parts of the Wild Coast 4wd Trial, primary and secondary gravel roads.
The Transkei is very scenic and has beautiful surprises where ever you travel but, you have to concentrate on these roads. If you do not remind yourself to look around while enjoying the riding, you may miss a lot.
Although the route on the first day was only 321 km's, the total trip time for the first day was 10 hours of which the driving time was 8:30.
