Good morning Vietnam, I love that saying. We flew into Hanoi, the North of Vietnam and caught a bus to the Old Quarter where our hotel was. On the drive Dean and I noticed that the driver was going to glory on his horn. We were used to the Thai people's excessive use of the horn but this took it to another level. Thirty minutes in Dean and I were ready to bunch the driver in the head, the driver did not stop honking and for no reason. We were the last people on the bus and the driver stopped, jumped [View Full Entry]

Ok so we actually flew into Kuala Lumpur which is Malaysia I know. We flew with Air Asia the budget airlines and it wasn't too bad but it wasn't great either. We got to our pension at about 10pm, our room was tiny 4 walls, air con, and a bed. We crashed out straight away but woke up at 3am with lovely jet lag, we tossed and turned for so long that by 8am we got up to explore KL. The pension offered us breakfast but we were a little put of by the brown water from the tap, disgusting. So [View Full Entry]

We were so excited to arrive in Spain...we touched down in Madrid airport and headed straight to the bus station to head to Pamplona for the San Fermin Festival and to join up with the Ground Crew. Our real excitment was seeing Nicole and Caitlan from our old flat in London. We arrived at about 10pm and Chrissy (our boss) picked us up from the bus station and took us to the campsite, El Melino which was about 40 minutes away. The bus carrying all the people from London inc Nic and Caitlan hadn't arrived due to some breakdowns etc, so [View Full Entry]

Well we are now in Rome and what an amazing city, the last few day s have been extremely hectic and trying to fit everything in is quite difficult. Our fist fay of touring the weather was terrible, it rained all day, so we just did the Colosseum and the ruins next to the Colosseum, which were absolutely fascinating. After a few hours at loking at rocks and being drenched we decided to ride the bus through the city, we actually stayed on for a couple of rounds of the city and eventually got of at th vatican and had an [View Full Entry]

I have fallen in love with this part of the world, Cinque Terre translates to 5 lands in english and is the most amazing place I have seen in the whole time I have traveled. (Cappa thanks for telling us about it). The 5 lands we vistited are: Riomaggiore, Manarola, corniglia, Vernazza and Montirosso. As you can see from the pictures the houses look as though they are carved into the mountains and when you reach a high point and look back, you are just taken back by the beauty of the place. The people are amazing and friendly and the [View Full Entry]
