Saturday 25th - cooking class, we cooked sweet and spur pork, spicy chicken, chnese salad, egg plant and dumplings! All very nice and very hot!! Sunday 26th - we went to a party, ate loads of food, lungs, sheep stomach, duck feet, intestine, tongue, ox's tail! The reason for the party was to celebrate the rebuilding of a families house that was destroyed by the earthquake! Seems to be a good group with a really good guide. On our first meet we all went for a meal together after our initial meet. Our group leader selected all the dishes, whic was fun! Fianlly arrived in Beijing after nearly 24 hours of planes and airports, Rox slept most of the way as expected and i struggled to get comfortable. After queuing for like an hour to get a cab from the airport we were dropped at some random little alley - known as a HuTong... Lukily for us Rox has the eyes of a hawk and managed to see the smallest sign, in pitch black pointing to our hostel location....
