So yesterday I got food poisoning again. I'm really scared to buy food at the supermarket now. I basically threw up every hour on the hour. It was really bizarre cuz I would wake up, look at my clock, and throw up. Obviously, I couldn't go to any of my classes, and since I have a test tomorrow, I have a crap load of work to do in order to prepare for tomorrow. Now that a full month has basically passed since my last entry, I thought it was time to add another one! Warning: I have a lot of thoughts, so this entry might be a little confusing=.= So today was Beijing's first sand storm of the year. So, I just watched a documentary on North Korea, and now I'm really sad. It's horrible that people must live in such an sick, toxic environment. I can't imagine having to constantly worship someone who finds himself so worthy that he forces people to make up stories about his "supernatural" abilities. It makes even more grateful for the liberties I have. Even though I am now residing in a communist country, there is still a large deviance between what I, as a foreign national, am entitled to here, versus what the citizens have in North Korea. I think I'm finally starting to get used to the flow of things here. Since I haven't really gotten a chance to talk in depth with anyone, I'll fill you in on how things are. I live in a dorm room in the foreign students dorm. I live on the second floor of the foreign students dorm, and my room is right next to the teachers' and administrators' offices. School here is SO hard! I originally heard that we would study 4-6 hours/day, but it seems more like 8-9 hours=________________= That combined with 4 hours of intense, small classes. Yeah....I haven't really been talking with anyone. Nothing is wrong persay, I'm just so tired, that if I have extra time I wanna sleep. By the end of the day, I'm spent. I'm slowly getting used to being here.
