Vegas is a bit mad and I'm taking a little while to adjust I've gotten used to sleepy towns and cities over the last 8 weeks and this is a definate culture shock.Lau seems ok though she's already located the nearest hair salon and clothes shops. Anyway I'll update you on what we've been up to over the l http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Nevada/Las-Vegas/blog-327234.html We are still here Hi Sorry have not 'blogged' in a while finding Internet access is a pain in north US plus we have been hectic driving from state to state and even a small detour into Canada wasn't plannedAnyway arrived in New York on time after a 12 hr flight and did a bit of shopping visit to Broadway to see Wicked and a few drinks in the revolving restaurant at the top of the Marriott. Dave remembere http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/South-Dakota/Badlands/blog-324070.html So Long South America Hello all Dave here. Since our last update we've been to Paraty which were our last few days as part of the Drago tour. It was a lovely little fishing village with friendly people but not so friendly dogs. We were camping again and cooking for ourselves.......my group's turn unfortunately but our braised pork chops went down a treat. Voted best of the tour by our official judge. The day after we http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Brazil/Rio-de-Janeiro/Rio-de-Janeiro/Leblon/blog-321288.html Soaking up the Sun in Brazil Good morning afternoon evening to you allHope you are all well and enjoying what looks on the BBC website to be the usual british summerYou have me again as Dave spends all of his internet time catching up on facebook and checking up on how his X11 teams are doing Also sorry for bad spelling etc you have to pay by the minute so I am not going back and you cannot do spell check We are stil http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Brazil/Sao-Paulo/blog-319029.html Argentina was great Hola.......Sorry it has been a while we have been busy and camping a lot so not as much access to internet as before anyway we are now in Brazil and spent the last few days in Argentina so I will update you on that whilst Dave is asleep by the side of the poolokay so I think we left you in Tupiza Bolivia where we had a long and boring 2 day drive bush camps and then boarder crossing to Argent http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Brazil/Paran-/Foz-do-Igua-u/Igua-u-National-Park/blog-315703.html Loving Tupiza First of all Lau says thanks for all her birthday messages......Ill come on to how we celebrated in a secondIts been really eventful since our last blog and weve started to find warmer weather. The salt flats at Uyuni were amazing and we had a full day checking them out. The whole group jeeped out onto the flats and weve some unbelieveable photos. Managed to borrow a camara from our group http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Bolivia/Potosi-Department/Tupiza/blog-312951.html Leaving La Paz It only snowed for one day The next day it was bright sunshine and nice temperatures. We had quite a few days in La Paz due to the Bolivian voting.......basically everything stops and theyre not allowed to sell alcohol for 48 hours.....rubbish.Anyway the vote went ok and Evo Mendez won which is good......it could have got quite nasty if it had gone the other way. Were getting into the local gr http://www.travelblog.org/South-America/Bolivia/Potosi-Department/Uyuni/blog-311878.html Snowing in La Paz Sorry we havent been in touch for a while weve been mountain climbing camping in romote villages and going out on team meals as soon as we arrive anywhere new.Just arrived in La Paz Boliva and its snowing outside.......can you believe it.....some summer holiday.
