-Bob- Getting ready to go on a trip is a hassle. All that crap you have been putting off now has a real, unnegotiable due date. Renew a rental, Repair the other one, House repairs, replace the vineyard, build an irrigation system.... it doesn't seem to have an end. But it will end on 9 October. And it will be out of reach and hopefully forgotten for two wonderful months. We will probably be in Mexico City until Thursday the 14th when we move on to Guanajuato for the Festival Internactional Cerventino. Then who knows? We end up in Oaxaca where we have rented an apartment for a month. Finish the trip with a couple weeks checking out the Mayan antiquities and we will be home in time for Christmas. Then we’ll catch a first class bus north. Guanajuato has seen us twice already, but draws us back again for its International Cervantes Festival. This festival features artistic performances and art exhibitions. We don’t really know what to expect, but plan to have a great time. We don’t know where we’ll go in between, but will start our month-long stay in an apartment in Oaxaca on October 25. Last time we were there, the ... read more
