Having left Europe for good I’m now living in India. I’m living my life barefoot, never wearing shoes. It’s not a fashion statement but a lifestyle. I love travelling, and I’ve spent YEARS on the road, always barefoot (I’m not even carrying shoes in my backpack!)... Covering thousands of kilometres on my bare soles, I’ve made friends on many continents… Roaming around barefoot, it’s very easy to start a conversation: There are many people asking me why I’m barefoot, and I take my time to explain the advantages of a barefoot lifestyle! And here in India, the reactions are almost always positive… “Barefoot, free and happy”, that’s my motto!
