| 5th April 2008 Peter42y | wellcome - From: Lagos, Portugal Wow.., you are gorgeous. Thats the only thing that does come to my mind. Its great to have beautifull people in portugal I am portuguese myself.., but unfortunatelly I have never spend holydays in Lagos or algarve , the province where the city of lagos is. (I prefer the north of portugal. It has no beaches but is more greeny and less hot ) If you need something..,let me know . I enjoy to help . |

| 4th February 2008 Baptist | - From: Can´t wait for Granada! Hey mom! ... As for how things are around the house, we really aren´t responsible for doing a whole lot. Maria Jose prepares all of the meals and we just need to set the table and clear it afterward. we have a cleaning lady that comes once a week who is a really good friend of maria jose´s that cleans our room and maria jose does our laundry. all 5 of us eat together for lunch and that is the biggest and longest meal of the day. for breakfast she sets cereal and fruit out for us to help ourselves and dinner she serves Beth Brittney and me. it is a very different culture! |
| 31st January 2008 Mom | - From: Can´t wait for Granada! Hey Laura, You crack me up!!! For how small you are ~ you sure talk about food a lot!!!! It all sounds yummy! I hope you DO have cooking lessons from your senora before you come home. Does your senora have you or let you help at all around the house? Remember Lindsey's didn't allow it in Mexico. Just wondering how they are there. Does she eat with you at meal time or does she serve you? That's what I think would be so interesting to see all the different cultural differences. Have you learned anything cool about the French culture from Maria Eva? The sunset picture by the river is beautiful! This blog is such a neat thing. I hope you'll be able to copy your blog entries & pictures on to a disc to save when you get back. It'll be like a diary of your trip. Not much else going on here. Still very cold! I'm cleaning today and may run some errands. Tomorrow I nanny for the Cole's as they are planning on taking Mary Grace skiing. This weekend we will probably go through some homes in the Parade of Homes. Have a great weekend in Granada! Love, Mom |

| 28th January 2008 Mom | Hola - From: Cádiz Hi Laura, Just got home from Beth Bax's cottage with the WWK girls for the weekend. It was our 10 year anniversary of being together as WWK so we celebrated. We were going to go to Mexico, but originally when I thought we were coming to Spain ~ I said I couldn't do a Mexico trip too. Becky couldn't afford it with other family travels planned either. So... everyone else decided that they didn't want to go unless everyone could go. Very sweet! Beth & Ellen Kewley planned this Mexico fiesta weekend in Waupaca at Beth's cottage. It was a hoot! They bought sombreros, a pinata & we had Mexican food, drink and music. Very fun!!!! Sounds like the trip to Cadiz was fun. How funny about the princess" Cody. Were'nt you going to see Elana in Cadiz? Well, better go ~ I just got home. Must unpack & do laundry. Love, Mom |
