A wedding trip to southern India's Tamil Nadu state proved to be enchanting. India is such a incredible place. I love it's very diverse culture. I've attended a wedding in Chennai wearing proper Indian costume. Chennai or Madras is where the Apostle Thomas tomb. He went to the subcontinent to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was famous for doubting the resurrection. Pepsi's CEO was said to be born and educated in Chennai. Like French, people in Chennai thinks that their language is superior that is they end up not speaking their national language - Hindi. ... read more

A popular Christian/Gospel music label is the Hillsong. I came to visit the very popular Hillsong church's main auditorium in the sub-urb Sydney. The youth pastor toured us around and invited us if we want to join their Bible School. I saw people in park in small groups praying with each other. ... read more

Hong Kong is a former British Colony. It's a major financial centre. The Financial Centre building was where one of the batman movies was taken. The one-China policy which claims Hong Kong, Taiwan and other international disputes like the Tibet and South China Sea is one of the major disputes in the international territorial disputes. In Hong Kong, I visited Disneyland. I was amaze via train travel and the scenic place. I believe that it is better than the one in Anaheim, California which I came to visit also in 2009. I love the massive Hong Kong airport. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kowloon. I love the street foods. ... read more

The Statue of Liberty has gone a long way since it was given by France to the United States, it has become a witness of the Global diaspora mainly of African refugees when the New World is trying to build the continental America. The Staten Island used to accommodate the refugees who went sailing from across the Atlantic to find greener pastures. A ferry boat from lower Manhattan's Battery Park takes you to the famous icon of US immigration. From the island a panoramic view of New York and it's skyline minus the Twin Towers. ... read more

Singapore is a major financial centre. A small and tiny city-state in the far-east. It's a disciplined country which is one of the first to survive the 2008 world economic melt-down. It is one of the melting pot of cultures in Asia. One of the economic tigers. In 2008, APEC was held in the city. A financial centre trying to become the next Hong Kong. I enjoyed sentosa island and the food stands next to promenade metro station. Of all the cities I've visited, it is the place where I've enjoyed food. ... read more

My Jakarta trip was a shocking experience. In the capital city I've stayed in a hotel called Sparky. It has free breakfast like most of all hotels. But another freebies that shocked me upon entering the lobby after check-in was a free vodka from an in-house bar. I had a peak inside and to my surprise I saw ago-go dancers on-stage half naked and goes to the customer dancing their boobies. It was a spicy adventure in the largest south-east asian economy and the largest muslim population in the world.... read more

At the Arabian Gulf sits the small archipelago consist of 13 major islands. It is one of the oil producing countries with the biggest oil reserves and it's monetary unity is the dinar. It is being ruled by monarch. The royalty which ruled the muslim nation for more 30 years. Recently riots in the streets particularly the Pearl round-a-bout is at the center or world media and politics. The majority Shiite muslims wants to overthrow the Sunni ruling monarch. A martial law imposed and some people died in the protest which is rampant in the middle east including Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Yemen and more recently Libya. There's nothing much to see in Manama. It's a rich emirate/state-nation but it will only be fully developed in the next ten years. It's way backward to it's neighboring Dubai ... read more

Once separated by a wall, Berlin is such an interesting city. It boasts of a annual international film festival comparable that of Cannes. I've enjoyed my tour in Berlin and stayed at Holiday Inn Berlin-Mitte. As usual I used public transport and used it's metro. I've enjoyed playing the slot machine adjacent to the hotel because I won 800 euros. ... read more

It wasn't actually the best flight. Of all the airlines I've tried so far, Turkish Airlines is the worst. I am used with world class service of Etihad, Emirates and Virgin airlines but my trip to and from Istanbul was disappointing. That is why i never used the said airline when I travelled back to Europe. They served good miracle nut though. It's called hazel nut which I believe is abundant inTurkey. I've also learned that the Turkish Airline used to be an ailing Airline but was saved by the new management from the ex-Pepsi CEO. It's now one of Europe's fastest growing airlines as advertised on CNN. At the airport, I tried the continental breakfast. An array of different sort of condiments from many countries. It's surprising that it's called continental for that reason alone. ... read more

Photography is a classical and strong language. It is an approach that also captures the memory. The mixture of shades of my green Adidas Jacket and the floral polo shirt of a tall African man and the white uniforms of the Korean sailors and the Nepali from a security company captured the attention of Jeremy Horton (art director, Impact BBDO). He chose my photograph as the winning image for the Adidas’ “Flash Your Orignal Moment” late last year. "The photo captures a unique moment of overlapping random people's lives. All the characters have their own story merged into one unrepeatable composed frame. I liked the style diversity of the group.” The natural snapshot it’s a perfect encapsulation of what Dubai which is a rainbow of nationalities thriving and living harmoniously; united yet diverse.... read more
