I thought it seemed really chaotic and then I realised why.......on the flight departures board it said CANCELLED. I queued up for ages to find out what was going on and they were so slow with everyone that noone was knew what was happening. I got talking to two girls in the queue next to me from Holland Monique and Hannah. They were told http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/blog-449853.html Indonesia Part 2 We were really excited about the Gili islands. They are really really small and we didn't really know what to expect. We took our minibus to the port and caught the boat accross to Gilli Air. There are only two boats a day and so it was jam packed with locals and food deliveries so we clambered on and sat where we could. There is no motorised transport on any of the Gili islands. We had chos http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Lombok/blog-449851.html Indonesia with Lisa Firstly.......Apologies for the lack of grammar on cant wont dont etc. in this blog entry. For some bizarre reason every time I saved it the format would change and they would disappear it is not because my English is THAT bad.So after avoiding the duty free at the airport unwillingly due to lack of funds I boarded the plane to Bali. I was quite nervous about this flight as I am not the http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Indonesia/Lombok/blog-445474.html Charming Chaam Finally we arrived at the beach. Another long overnight journey and dropped off at the wrong place but eventually we arrived in Cham but not after a U turn a bus change and a taxi. We stayed literally right on the beach road. It is about 3 hrs from Bangkok on the South Coast and is apparently a favored Thai getaway place and where the King sometimes take his holidays.......we were on the l http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/blog-440076.html Off to meet Joe again So much to say hope you don't fall asleep........................KRABBI BANGKOKAfter leaving the girls in Phi Phi it was weird thinking about traveling alone as since arriving in Asia I had been lucky and met so many people. I arrived at the bus stop after the ferry from Phi Phi and need not have worried as I instantly started talking to a German girl traveling to Bangkok also this conversat http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Laos/blog-439294.html Leaving Malaysia for Thailand After a few days in Penang our last leg of Malaysia we left. We hadn't planned to stay much longer although we could of done. It was a great city island connected to the mainland via a big bridge it seemed to have everything. We took the train ride up penang Hill on a funicular train which was sooo steep my ears popped within minutes. The food was great too Penang is the hawker capital http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Malaysia/blog-436676.html Real Travelling Begins Kuala Lumpur.. So its been a while my friends Sorry I have been s busy since leaving Broome. Finding it hard to keep up with the blogs as sometimes finding the Internet can be hard when your on the move.I was originally a bit anxious about traveling to Asia on my own even if I had arranged to meet Joe but I need not have worried as I have met so many people here already. After flying to Perth I stayed a few http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Malaysia/blog-433665.html Leaving Broome......finally So....after 7 weeks working here in Broome I am finally outta here I leave this afternoon on a flight to Perth. I am staying with Ciara for a few nights one of the Irish girlies I met on the first Red Safari Tour. She's fab and invited me to stay at her place until a fly to Asia on Tuesday. She has a HOUSE. I cannot tell you how nice it will be to stay in a house with only 4 people http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Broome/blog-430098.html Working and Saving Up in Broome So this is now my 4th week working at the cafe and it is killing me. I have decent hours and seem to have regular 8am 2.30pm shifts Monday to Friday. I am permanently stuck on the front desk dealing with all the orders and the takeaway counter but I am so sick of the bloody Aussies looking at me like I am Chinese and as if they don't understand me and I am talking a foreign language cos I have http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Broome/blog-424945.html Broome Chilling Out So I have been in Broome over a week now. Can't believe I have been away nearly 4 weeks Broome is so so hot and I'm still not getting a proper tan yet. The factor 30 is a killer but I'm being good and slapping it on every day to be safe. Been a busy week I arrived here with a terrible cold and flu obviously swine flu but after drinking some horrendous ammonia solution and lots and lots http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Broome/blog-417326.html Up to Broome Easyrider Tour So I booked to travel to Broome on another tour with Easyrider from Coral Bay. It was recomended that I visit Karaginni National Park on the way up so I decided to this tour rather than sitting 22hrs on a Greyhound straight to Broome Karaginni National park is one of the best parks in Australia I was told and it didn't dissapoint either I left really early on the Wednesday morning after a la http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/Broome/blog-415367.html Up the West Coast Well What a week Left Perth last Monday and have just finished the trip. It was a great trip. Seen loads and loads and I hope I have satisfied you all with the pics I have added this time. There are loads I am really camera happy at the moment that will probably wear off I would imagine soon enough. Anyway the West Coast is gorgeous if not a little spaced out Lots of travelling o http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/Western-Australia/blog-413006.html Leaving Perth Touring the West Coast BOOKED MY TRIPBeen into Perth today with Joe my new friend at the hostel. Decided to go to Sentosa Island with Saskia. After a great sleep a full 9hours even with the noisy air conditioning on and no black out blinds.
