After doing the ice caves at the beginning of the one week I went to a class called snowcraft or Happy Camper. This is an overnight camping trip where you learn some basic snow survival skills. There are 20 of us that go out together with 2 instructors. After surfing last week we had some down time the day after because we could not catch a bus until Thursday night when we had hoped to leave Thursday morning. That bus ride from Iquique was going to be rather interesting. It was a 26 hour bus ride straight through. When this town was first built it was in the shape of a puma because that was a symbol of belief for the Incas since there were many in the area. On top of the hill near town are the old ruins Sasqaywaman which is pronounced similar to sexy woman.
