I never really try to put myself down. Instead I look at the mirror and look for passion. I never look for a flaw in my character or appearance but I do see them. I only make the best of it when I can. I search within my heart and look for the one thing that will always be on my side no matter what the occasion: music. 1) I believe so because the description from Castigilione describes someone of good character. Someone o good character would typically want the best for anyone because they are loyal. I think that there are some guys out there that really look for the best in their mate and will remain loyal to them. People like them are hard to come across and realize it. 2) He might have believed this idea because he was looking for something that would make the world a better place. By finding people that are loyal, strong, and romantic he would see that he is safe around the person. 1) The first image that stood out o me was the lights in place of the Twin Towers because it gives the nation a sense of strength and the impression that those who were lost are not forgotten. The second was the Christians protecting the Muslims becauuse this shows that even though we are all seperated and have our own beliefs, we still look out for others and shows unity. 1) I would say that Derreck Kayongo is the most heroic. This is because he does a lot to make sure kids are able to walk around unfilthy. There are lots of kids in the world that are alone, scared and poor and he is willing to do what it takes to put a bar of soap in hands of those children who can't afford it. 1)Shoegazing is really simple to define, but I didn't know what it was until I read the definition. Shoegazing is the art of taking pictures of your shoes. I've seen people do it before but not once did I know it had a formal term. 2) I have seen pictures of people doing so but never paid attention to it. I never thought of doing it either but now I tried it after the article told me what it was. I guess people do things to experiment and that's what I did at the moment. This Thanksgiving I realized I have a ton of blessings to be thankful towards. Before anything I want to thank God for another second of breath, another second with m family and friends, and a list of doors that he has opened up for me. I want to thank my parents for always pushing me to be my best and letting me know that being great is ok. I'm thankful for the education I'm getting because I know that that will get me to raise my family the right way when the time comes. One day America celebrates nation wide is veterans day. Citizens take this time to remember those who are fighting for us and those who have died fighting for us. There was an article regarding the tomb of the unknown soldiers. People, famous or not would come by and pay respect. One person that came to pay respect was the president. This shows the level of respect that veterans are given for giving up their lives for us whether they were highly ranked or were as ranked as low as a private. No one knows who these soldiers were and how respect they got within their unit, but the fact that they are unknown and we still value their deaths shows that we have respect for all our veterans.... read more
