A taste of Australia Even if Melbourne wasn't my home, I would still say that it's my favourite city in the whole world - and I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. It's interesting to see what's familiar to us through new eyes...like your love of Coles and our pavlovas... one of my faves too! :) Cheers, Ren
It is really easy to like Melbourne and all the places I visited in Australia. I have to get used again to our Japanese supermarket, after Coles. But I will be fine. I just discovered and really loved reading your blogs.
Awesome Australia Ah...the serenity. I sit in Sydney in my home next to the bush and smile...I love living in Australia...and you have a taste of what I am talking about. Delighted you had a good time.
Wonderful country Will definitely go back, with my whole family next time. I wish I have experienced it when I was younger and still had a chance to make a permanent living there.
Enjoy your travels Dave. Thanks
Hot, hot, hot It is hot. We took a break from exploring and went back to our hotel pool for a dip and then went back for sunset. So mud beauty. Glad you are having a get away. it is beautiful.
Nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened after the European part of the war was finished, so it was not possible to use it against Nazi Germany.
Reasons for bombing and the results are still quite a controversial topic that is argued both ways in and outside of Japan.
Sweet Hannah! That's one sweet girl. Of course, it is not that easy for them to understand that.
And yes. Sad. But I still love my sushi and sashimi :(
A happy and prosperous life to you all :) Another lovely blog - inspiring me to go to Japan :) Love the way you explained to Hannah about the fish, hope your Koi brings prosperity and happiness and harmony to your home.
beautiful <3 i knew the wedding photos would be lovely! the wedding gown is specially gorgeous (and so is the bride), and of course the barong (charming kuya) :)
Hi Cindy Thank you very much. We are so happy to receive a message from you. We are sort of your blog stalker. We really love reading your blogs, specially your recent adventures with your Mom and also those fun blogs you have with Giant.
Stunning Your photos caught my eye, so I just had to read. What a lovely story and I agree that weddings are addictive. My husband and I had a civil wedding ceremony, then a Catholic ceremony 10 months later and just had Chinese wedding photos done since we have lived in China for the last 2.5 years and I see us renewing our vows every 10 to 15 years as I fall in love with him over and over again each day.
Your children are beautiful.
Hi Dave and Merry Jo,
You should come visit our city, and lets hang out when you do.
Take care you guys, and we are really enjoying reading your USA blogs, makes us want to come back and live there again
Having lived for so long in New York apart from people we know. Now, we want to update our family and friends on our adventures as we now make a life here in Osaka with our son, Akira and daughter, Hannah. Still quite on our own, my family being from the Philippines and Rinka from the Kyushu area.
Blog is the best way to show photos we've taken or actually been in it. I hope you guys enjoy them.
