Water
I thought you were going to say that the oasis dried up and you have no more water. Great stories. Keep them coming. Be safe.... Uncle Mark

Nice Update
I give you a ton of credit for striking out on your own particularly in a non-women friendly part of the world. Stay safe, be well and keep up the blog. Thanks.

Great news!
Arianne, What a summer! It's great to hear how things are going, and I'm so happy you've found a solution for the headaches, even if it's only a partial one! What colleges are on your short list? I hope you have a great semester! Jonathan

Definitely Greek
I've had some of those plants in my salad, and I've never had a Roman salad. Definitely Greek.

football & ruins
First, GO STEELERS! Cool that you got to see my team win again! Second, wouldn't Roman ruins be found in Italy? I know that is where I saw them. They do look similar though. Cool trip.

Travel and Studies
Hi Sweetheart! You were there about the time that Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mark were in Israel. SO CLOSE! Last Sunday we went over and had the afternoon talking about their trip and pictures. I brought along my Journal of when I went to Israel exactly ten years ago. It was exciting to hear about one place where I had been, and then hear how ten years later a whole city has been uncovered. AMAZING. Glad that you are able to be there. And glad that you are finally getting to do the very writing that first attracted you to this whole adventure! The part that moved me the most about Israel was being in the places where Old Testament stories happened. Were you able to hear stories of the places where you and Amanda were? VERY interesting about the earthquake "security"!!! Loving you, Grandma

also, Zeus was Greek, and the columns look to be Ionic and Corinthian - both Greek styles. I think your Roman ruins are Greek...

Hey, Arianne! Had lunch with your dad today (he got stranded not too far from us en route to London)--SO much fun, and a real treat. 12 minutes to solve the puzzle? Nice work!--I've about given up on Rubik's cubes. :-P I can mess one up pretty successfully, though! 8 weeks until Baby Girl comes--we'll send you pictures when she gets here! Love you!

aah baby...
...what a terrible and wonderful experience. No matter what happens, you will have brought joy into this child's life. That will mean more to her mother than you will know - until you become a mother. I miss you. And I'm counting..... :)

Baby!!!!!
I'm so excited about all the pieces you're singing in choir. I want a Christmas Concert! Bring your sheet music back with you and you can train the sorores. Faboo :) That washing machine looks like a modern version of the one I used to use (except I drained it into the bathtub - the toilet was in another room!). It beat getting on the bus with the granny-shopper and taking it to the launderette. PS Duck tape. Cures all your ills. Ask Karl. I'm here in CA with Aisling and today we are going to Seal Beach via In N Out for a mini/pedi followed by sushi. Bliss. Just like your sticky buns. :) I LOVE you!!!!! I'm waaay excited to see you in the spring. Start planning baby! PS We are sooo doing Petra.
