Happy canada day :o) i've made it to chiang mai all on my own, i just wish i had someone to celebrate canada day with. the journey wasn't bad.. although we got the old bait n' switch wich wasn't very pleasing the trip involved (and was all purchased with one ticket) taxi - boat - bus - train well the "bus ride" started off just that, then about 10 minutes into the trip they pull over and hurd us into a make shift uncomforatble pick-up truck that has been extended with some kind of clothing rack so more people can sit off the end of it. and i just happened to be the lucky one to sit outside of the very quickly moving truck ::lol:: i wasn't sure weather to cry or laugh. then on the ... read more

So things are starting to feel a little more natural now, i'm on my way to getting a tan, although its a little less brown and a little more red :o) i've been on the beach on haat tian (sp?) for a week now, living in a bamboo hut full of lost of lovely critters.
