Eurostar high speed train from Brussles to London was... well very fast. Not much to see out the window in the chunnel. So far we have seen Buckingham Palace, shopped at Harrods, studied realy old stuff at the British Library and of course, been to the theatre. [View Full Entry]

Actually, we went to Bruges, but it is not on the pick list. We took a train from Amsterdam to Antwerp and then changed trains to Bruges. Of course, Andrea knew people on our train car for the first leg. We are traveling with an insane amount of luggage so we broke down and took the first Taxi instead of walking ten minutes on medieval cobble stone to our apartment. Amsterdam was a fascinating place. We enjoyed the many walking tours, Anne Frank house and some fabulous food and drinks. Too bad the Heineken tour was closed, but it was a beautiful and scenic walk to get there. We saw the Scholar ship when we took a tram, train and taxi to retrieve a forgotten item. A very different way of life here. Funny, every turn of this city Andrea ran into people she knew. [View Full Entry]
