Hello everyone As most of you already know by now I am back in Calgary- and have been for about 3 weeks now. Hello everyone I know its been a really long time since the last update but after my huge adventure in April i took some time to enjoy Glasgow as well as a week trip to Spain where I lounged on the beach and partyed the whole time! Hello everyone, The reason why I haven’t updated you on my adventures over here for the past few weeks is because I have been out and about traveling new parts of Europe over our Easter Break (of 2 weeks). My adventure began in Rome, which I found to be a truly beautiful city, followed by a trip to Maione (where my grandma and grandpa were born). This blog update is not quiet as exciting as the others- I havent left Glasgow since my last 'skiing adventure' but am trying to see as much of my new hometown as I can. The weather here has been up and down alot over the past month- I have seen snow, sun and lots of rain but its starting to warm up now :) Glasgow has just implemented a smoking ban on pubs, restaurants and bars so no more reaking of tobacco- which will be great! Hello everyone Its really hard to beleive that I have been over here for almost 2 months now- WOW. Over the past 2 weeks I have been up north in the highlands on 2 seperate occasions. 1. Hello everyone, Sorry that it has been such a long time since the last update but up until last weekend I hadnt been doing anything worthy of adding a blog for. On Valentines day my flat mates and I threw an ANTI- valentines day bash becuase it seemed to be an appropriate theme for everyone! This past Sunday I attended my very first Six Nations Rugby Match in Edinburough. The exchange advisor from my University, Jim Wilson, met all the interested students at the bus station Sunday morning and got us all organized for the hour bus ride over there. On the drive over there I got to see the "ghetto" of Glasgow, a sheep farm, a high security prison and lots and lots of garbage on the side of the motorway. Hello everyone back in Canada! I have made it through my first 2 weeks here and have already learned alot about this country..... * asking for a "Toilet" is not considered a rude way to ask for a bathroom- i am still getting used to this one * ignore the crosswalks even if there are police right next to you- or else you will stand there for 5 minutes waiting for the green man to show up * show up 5 minutes late for classes and you will still beat the professor there * scottish traditional dancing is more tiring then [View Full Entry]

Hello everyone Sorry this has taken so long for me to post but the internet here is not easy to access and it randomly cuts out sometimes . So I have been in the beautiful city of Glasgow for just over a week now and its been excellent everyday.
