Latvia, Riga Enjoyed your travel log of the trip you made, plus the photos. Always nice to get someone's view of a place before one travels there. We are planning such a trip later this summer. Thanks for sharing. William - Las Vegas, NV (USA)
I worked at Hahn Air Base,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for 3 years from 86-89. The USAF 50 Tactical Fighter Wing was there and closed in 1993-94. I loved it there. I lived on the Mosel River in a town called Bullay. I also spent a few months in Zaragoza Spain as we had an Air Base there until it closed.

Beautiful Vienna!! I was lucky enough to get to visit Vienna on my first trip to Europe when I graduated from high school and then again in '03. Vanessa absolutely loved studying there for a semester in college and would have loved to have stayed for the rest of the year, but was commited to doing research in China. It truly is a beautiful city with so much to offer and the music gets to your heart....along with everything else it has to offer!! We are all trying to get back so!!
Nice place! It looks gynormous! 6 extra rooms?
When can guests come to visit?
And a truly spectacular ring.

Adapting to Adapters I've never had a problem with the adapters in Italy! I think the three prong one that you're talking about is like our three prong one in the States. But the German two prong plugs are a little bit thicker than the two prong ones that you can use in Italy. If you go to the PX get the smaller adapters...the ones in the little plastic bags, not the big round ones. Those fit down south :) Then again, maybe I'm wrong and Pisa has completely different plugs! But I'm glad the hairdryer fiasco was averted :)
I know...we suck Matt had to work and didn't get home until super late for me to call and tell you :( I'm glad you guys went anyways and hope you had a great time in Tuscany/Florence this weekend!
I can't keep up with you! Hey! I thought I would try to catch up with you two now that the holidays are over and here you are on the move AGAIN! It sure does sound like you are living the dream of a lifetime as you make your way across Europe! So much of what you have documented I experienced last summer in Sweden! Savor these moments...they truly are special! It is wonderful to see you both so-o-o-o happy and well. Take care and know we think of you often. Love, Denise and Ed
Romas and I have been living in Germany for three years and now we've been extended!! We are here at least another year or two! We love to travel and explore. We've seen a lot already and can't wait to see more!! With a baby on the way, we may be slowing down (temporarily, at least!)
We're a little behind in updating our blog. We promise to catch up and keep you posted on all of our travels! I've published a number of blogs without an official blog entry. I don't want to be so backlogged on publishing! Hopefully, I can get my act together this summer (after we move and u... full info
