My boyfriend and I decided to go to the Caribbean for our 2007 trip. We picked St. Thomas, USVI and we couldn't been more happier. The island of St. Thomas is just AMAZING! We stayed at the Marriott French Reef which was conveniently located in Charlotte Amalie. Everymorning we would take the water taxi from the hotel dock to the main town ($6 each way) where you would find a number of restaurants and shops. We liked Cuzzin's Restaurant (deep fried conch) and Glady's Cafe (Jerk Porkchops) the most for some real authentic Caribbean flavors. They are the locals' favorite. Shopping
