Mormon Temple
A lot to update on our trip since the last blog. Last mentioned, we were going to Salt Lake City to take a look at the Mormon Temple. We’ve seen pictures of the temple online and were trying to embrace ourselves for the massive building. However, when we got there, it wasn’t as HUGE as I thought it was going to be. However, Dave thinks that it’s by far the most beautiful temple of all the Mormon temples. I still thought it was extremely gorgeous, just not as monstrous as I had envisioned. Rice Hats
I am now in Nha Trang. That's why the title of this entry is paradise in my sister's house. Nha is a Vietnamese word for "house" and Trang is my sister's house. Okay, a lame pun but whatevers. It's really neat here! So to go back to a couple days back, my family actually did NOT end up going to Halong Bay. If we had gone, then we wouldn't have gotten to browse around Hue, which is the imperial capital of Vietnam. Myha's family is from there for those that know her. So we were visiting your hood Myha! ;-) So we're not going to make Halong Bay at all this year. Maybe next year. Yes, next year, I am planning to come back again. Hello again, I am back! The last couple days have been hectic. It's been one party after the next. First it was G-ma's house in the countryside or something like that. There was soooOoO much food. I didn't realize that my mom came from a simple background. They raise pigs, cows, just to make enough to survive and eat. However everyone is so happy all the time. No one ever fights...my mom's side is really chill. ESPECIALLY my G-pa. He's like.."cool you're my grandchildren...peace." Haha, not exactly like that, but still...really chill and just happy all the time. And oh my goodness.... can I just let you all know how much my mom's siblings look alike? They are so frickin similiar. It's crazy. There's already resemblence with G-ma and mom...now 5 more sisters and 6 ... read more

Hello! I finally made it. Well I made it here yesterday morning. It was a pretty comfortable flight. Nothing to complain of. The food was decent, but the selection of movies was better. I thought I would be scared out of my wits because of my phobia of flying, but I was sandwiched between my mom and my sister the whole entire time. Aaron is right. When we were flying into Ho Chi Minh City, all I saw was green. Green green everywhere. That and the few occasions of brown indicating some river that I do not know the name of. It was beautiful flying in. The skies are bright and blue while the clouds were big gigantic puffballs of white - whiter than snow.
