Great reading.... Although it's news to me that we're off to Houston Texas. The plan at the moment is to fly home to Sydney from Cancun, via LAX. Keep up the wonderful writing, ma!
Kianggeh flats. I´ll oblige when I get back home from Ecuador. Or you could type Pangsa Ma´azmala, Jl Kianggeh, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Into Google Earth. The pics are quite good.
sedentery/schmedentary! You do get around, don't you? I feel positively sedentary in comparison - walking every day in Sydney doesn't cut it in comparison with this place! Email coming xxx
wow, you do get around... hi Gillian
still amazed at what you do and areas you get to...and admire ability to learn spanish. So I'm travelling vicariously with you as have not ventured to south america. meanwhile, has been hot in Pennautier while we watched the election saga unfold, and more power to the Greens, thank heavens. interesting result of hung parliament... so happy travels and we're well out of it!

Sooo enjoying your travels. Thanks again for including me in you blog.I get so much delight from reading(and seeing) your adventures. No doubt you will have picked up the language and be speaking like a local :o). As for me,an accident on my bike at the Gold Coast has left me with a broken wing. For the time being there are no flights of fancy(or un fancy) by moi.Glad to know you fixed the tooth problem.Continue to enjoy your wonderful adventure and keep up the great correspondence.Salud! fabuloso Fabuloso is all I can say to descibe what I have just read! How could you ever go to S.A. on a guided tour after what you are experiencing now.You are so fortunate to have produced a daughter who has inherited your spirit of adventure.I just loved the photos, especially the ones of the huts and the kitchen with the guinea pigs. Thanks for including me on your blog, keep on enjoying your time there , and, I look forward to hearing (and seeing)more of your "Erratic Travelling"

Hopefully this worked. I have annotated all the photos, but it´s unclear to me whether the final changes were saved correctly. My apologies if you can´t see them all.
Reply to G. Lee If you want something different, go along the east coast. Or stay at Lovina as we did. If you want the maddening crowd then head for Kuta.
Que Bueno! Your adventure sounds (and looks) wonderful.I can't wait to get there! How are the spanish lessons going? Please tell all. Am keen to see more pics, everything looks so colourful and exciting.I loved the street lamps.

Bali outside Ubud I will be staying in Ubud for most of my trip to Bali and making excursions from there. For a few days at the end of my 2 weeks, I'd like to stay at a different location. What would you recommend?
