wow, so i know i completely suck at this whole blog writing thing, but here goes. There has been so much that has happened in the last 9 weeks and i dont even know where to begin! We went to Noosa National Park and saw a koala in a tree, along with some crazy surfers near huge rocks. Mom and dad came in town for our mid-semester break and we travelled down to Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Hunter Valley and Coffs Harbor. We saw cute koalas at a koala hospital, ate good meat pies, went wine tasting and saw beautiful sights. In Sydney, we did all the typical tourist things, like the harbor bridge, opera house, botanical gardens, and sky tower. We did pretty much the same when we got over to Auckland, NZ. Hello all! Michelle and I started class on Tuesday! Our classes seem very interesting and it looks like they shouldn’t be too hard! I am actually taking a digital photographic practice class, which will be really interesting because I just got my new SLR from my parents for Christmas and I’ll get to learn how to use a lot more of it than I would have trying to teach myself. We have been to the beach a couple of times and we ate some really tasty gelato! Michelle and I got to ride bikes at starbucks to blend drinks, we got the drinks, and we also each got a $5 starbucks gift card! This whole trip has been so crazy already! Michelle and I left Blacksburg on Thursday morning, my 21st birthday, and headed for Virginia Beach. I had all of my packing to do, so we spent most of the day doing that and hanging out until we started getting ready for dinner. We went to dinner at Cobalt Grill with mom and dad, and I had Sauvignon Blanc for the second night in a row mmmm, and of COURSE, we had the world famous Sugar Plum chocolate chocolate cake with chocolate chips all around the outside!
