Mates, being from southern Portugal (Elvas) and living in London now, I was very happy to read your nice comments about Alentejo and Algarve. I think you got it just right, good food, amazing weather and a relaxed life style. Not the best place for museums for sure (unless you like churches...), but still, you can have a damn good holiday!

Swedish summer!
hej you have some fun pictures of your stay in Stockholm but your comment about our summers is incorrect. Last year we had a fantastic summer, over 26 degrees each day most days from mid may. tack och hej!

meeeh kom igen nu latis! nu är det väl ändå dags att uppdatera bloggen?! eller är det slut nu, eftersom suz åkt hem? jag är så uttråkad här nu, höggravid o är inte direkt sugen på att sticka iväg på äventyr hehe.. (förståligt kanske?!) tänkte surfa loss på er blogg men inget nytt JUUU! buhuuuuuu.... we miss you guys! we had such a good time while you were here.. even if it meant just to hang out on the sofa hahahahahha ;) And I just have one thing to say to you suz- HAVREFRAS! take care guys! love / zilia

aaah, nyhavn, cold beer, korv, the little mermaid, tivoli and then business class all the way to the u.s.! (hey, those are some NICE toilets haha!) you guys are so lucky! however, you missed one of the BEST rides at the tivoli, really worth the money! (den stora berg o dal-banan) i guess next time! :) as always, it´s so much fun to read about your adventures..looking forward to read more! lots of love /z

World Cup Game
I just read your whole Blog and kept on smiling to myself. Hope you both continue to have a good time. Though I am a bit disappointed you couldn’t fit me into your schedule for what is truly an amazing party Soooo sorry that Sweden has lost against the German team in the world cup ; good for us though, as we are still able to experience "Soccer Mania" here in Germany. ;-). I was in the city (Dortmund that is) when Sweden played against Trinidad&Tobago. Unbelievable, all in yellow-blue with dots of Caribbean red in there. Huge crowds, lakes of beer, chanting fans, dancing police, flags, paint, sun, street occupation. I do work for the city council temporarily, organising one of the youth camps at the “biggest Tipi Tent in the world” here in Dortmund: http://worldcup2006.dortmund.de/ (>Accommodation>Camps4U ). Yupp Guys, while you were pampered in comfort on your transatlantic flight we had a bloody good time down here. More sorry you couldn’t make it. Many Swedes came in Caravans, a sight we are normally used to see only from our Dutch friends (who have lost as well, against Portugal ) and of course the alcohol consumption in this city has never been higher, adding all the German Fans at the public viewing sites. I guess only the minority of the Swedish football addicts had tickets, so most of them ended up in the pubs, bars, squares, roof tops, Oh man, you guys drink and drink and drink and then still walk and find your bearings home into your cosy Tent, guided by smiling locals, happy to have the world at home. And yes, I truly believe that Italy was not the better team to win the game against Australia, the penalty in the 92nd minute was bullshit. That wasn’t fair. But, that’s football in the end, all this emotions from over the top, via total shock, to “Why go on living when we can burry you for five dollar” in a split of a second and all around a 600g rubber inflated leather ball and 22 men fighting for it. Good times for you two in the US of A and hope to see you in Thailand instead for the next Manta Dives in February. Alex

It looks like you guys are havin an awesome time. im jealous, cos i got annual leave in july and im going to friggin tasmania...TASMANIA! who the hell cares hey! hey, it looks really cold over there! here it´s sunny but a bit chilly right now.. but at least it does not rain all the time... just wait and see, this will be the famous last words hehe! one thing that stroke me is that you did not mention the food once in london..not all about the food there right? hehehehe! just beer and sweets! i´m really looking forward to see you again hermanito and to finally meet you, suz! only one week to go :) woohoo! take care of eachother! love / z

Hi guys, I love reading about your adventures. We had the same thing with a Monday in New York. We had made the 2hr train ride to the city from my brothers place, spent all morning walking, walked through Central Park to get to The Met, and it was closed. Maybe next time!
