you poor thing I bet you really missed Pepper! He could have prepared your steak, killed the spiders and vanished those pesky ants and still made your steak to perfection.
Today is better thus far, but really wishing I hadn't bought the poppy seed bagels. Eating one is kind of freaking me out- I keep double checking to make sure they're seeds! :) xo!
Word to the wise... Where there is humidity... there are bugs. Lots and Lots of bugs. Flying bugs. Flying roaches. mmmmmmmm!
California - one. Florida - zero!
Here's hoping you'll have a better day tomorrow!!! XOXOX
Yay for the Turtle! Hey Amanda, I too love turtles, so I would've been right there with you, rooting for the turtle to un-wedge itself and get back into the water. Yay for the little guy!
You're pretty! Hey Amanda, is that a new shirt? I don't remember seeing it on our Contiki adventure. Have you dumped your old clothes and bought a new wardrobe? How are your jeans holding up?...with a belt? Hee hee hee...I funny!
Matthias Church Hey Amanda, from your photos, it looks like Matthias Church gives St. Peter's Basilica a run for it's money! I love your night shots- everything looks like so magical and mystical. I can't wait to see all your photos when you head home. We'll have to set a whole weekend aside just for that! And you can eat and sleep and watch all the t.v. and do all the laundry you want while we do that! ;-)
Buda...that funky Buda Hey Amanda, I can't tell you how much I love reading your blogs. When I read them, I feel like I'm there and hearing you tell the story to me live! I'm a bit behind, as you can see, because I'm just getting to Budapest now, and you've long since left, but I plan to catch up in the next couple of days. That Terror Museum sounds fascinating! I'll want to hear much more about that later.
That hand thing was creepy...even for you! Hee hee hee. Hope you're doing really well!
poooo ewwww I was wondering, just how many sunrises have you seen? (I'm pretty sure from my experience as your neighbor and visits with your mom that there weren't to many :) ) I'm thrilled that you saw one of the everyday miracles in it's most beautiful glories.
Looks like a culture shock What a difference a day and some miles can make. You are back to the modern world. I hope you thought of your mom as you hugged that tree. I did. She would have loved it!
I am experiencing "Fernweh" which loosely means "an ache to travel."
I'll be traveling from November 27th, 2009 - mid May 2010.
My route, via Google map.
