| 14th August 2008 M E C | A couple of questions, if you have time. - From: Munich and Fussen (Sleeping Beauty's Castle) Hi -- lloks like you're having a wonderful trip. Do you remember how long and steep your walk up to Neusch Castle was? Did you drive or walk to where you took the scaffolding pic? Also am curious about the lunch photos -- looks like a lot of photo, was that for 2 or 1? (And do remember about how much it cost? I'm still trying to figure out budgeting for upcoming trip). Thanks -- looking forward to more photos |
| 1st August 2008 Mom | Rosenborg Castle - From: Copenhagen What an amazing castle that should be toured by anyone in Copenhagen. The crowns are laden with jewels inside and out with the velvety red pouf of an old time crown. Very cool. |
| 1st August 2008 Mom | Comfy on THAT train - From: Norway in a Nutshell and Oslo We did sleep well on this train even though it was quite a small compartment. The Stockholm to Oslo overnighter was a bit faster and I also took a shower which was very challenging! |
| 1st August 2008 Mom | Bergen is beautiful - From: Tourist time in Bergen and our trip to Stavanger. We had such a lovely time visiting Allison in Bergen. Bryggen is picturesque and we did try Minke Whale at the fishmarket. A bit unusual. . .it didn't taste like chicken! She forgot to add that her Dad and I jumped on the trampoline on the way down Floyen. My sisters will be proud that I hiked Preikestolen and stood right on the edge. . .high altitude sickness? |
