Here are a few outstanding photos from over the summer that I wanted to share on the blog.We didn39t have a great harvest in the garden this year for many reasons including weather rogue chickens general forgetfulness on our part and over enthusiastic toddlers. We did have lots of berries the strawberries and raspberries are always a huge hit and Daddy39s keen propogation skills mean we

Just a quick one...Our town got its own golden post box honouring an Olympic gold medal winner an athlete with somewhat tenuous links to the place having attended a very swanky private school nearby and more recently her parents retired here.
Our lovely next door neighbours got married recently and were kind enough to invite us along. After a dodgy week the sun shone and the rain stayed away. The ceremony was in their church in town which had been specially painted and recarpeted for the occasion followed by a reception and evening do at the town hall. Lots of their friends and church community had helped with the day and it had a r

J left his shorts on and waded in. And then so did G in her nappy. Ah well lots of cake and cheese straws to warm everyone up afterwards. The Olympics were still in full swing and it didn39

Our first attempt at taking the whole family away overnight in the van. We cheated a little by bringing along a ginormous tent for Daddy J to sleep in leaving Mummy G to snuggle up in the campervan. A superb plan as it turned out lots of space to store all the various paraphernalia leaving room for us to sit in the cab switch on the telly and watch Team GB storm 3 gold medals in the Olympi

A week in the Islands

The luxury of a whole week in the islands catching up with all the rellies. We took our friends the Family Cockers with us but the three days they were they it rained and fogged and rained some more. So they didn39t really get to appreciate the gloriousness of the islands in full sunshine. So sadly hardly any photos were taken as we were house bound and Andy Murray was playing the Wimbledon

During June Mummy in a reckless moment of selfinterest took a photography course specifically focussing on taking photos of your children capturing their childhood so there were a lot of photos taken of the two wee monkeys over this month or so a mere handful ahem of which are included in this blog post.Jamie graduated from his 23 group and there was a very cute pic on the play leader
