Hi Alia Alia...whatever you do....DO NOT go swimming in in Moskva river or any canal that is tied to the river. Even if you see people doing it. It is one of those bodies of water that microscopic things creep up your nose and later on grow and give you illnesses. I mean they even have mutated fishies swimming around with 2 heads in Moskva reka. Just my little recommendation-the locals told me when i lived there... Of course...by now I don't think it will get any warmer anyway...Hang in there. and don't freeze!
that's right If you don't eat your fruits, you are coming home, missy. THIS INSTANT! haha. good times. How are you doing? I'm so jealous of you. I hope that everything is going well and that you are loving it and not too cold. Miss you! xoxo.
re: You might have heard the fact saying that if you were to spent a minute looking at each exhibit in the Hermitage, you would need 11 years to see them all......
P.S. If you need to strike a match for the top of the stove, before you decide to bake anything, be sure the oven doesn't operate the same way...
Alexandra, quite an interesting entry
About the >>AT the entrance to Red Square is a plaque on the ground that is the "center of Moscow" <<
That's not the center of Moscow, that's so called "Zero Kilometer" of autoroads. All lengths are measured from here, so don't wonder if you go out of a city by car and see 13 or 17 sign on the road - it's ok.
About picking the pockets - there's a tradition, which says that if you throw a coin over your shoulder and make a wish - it will fulfill!
Also, i've heard that picking those coins are allowed for poor man here. But I'm not sure
Sorry for my poor English (((
So much has happened since my last blog. I graduated University, went back to Russia last summer, and am now attending Graduate School. As required by University, I have to complete an internship and I am lucky that I will be doing it in Tbilisi, Georgia. This is the unofficial blog, so don't go re-posting what I say, thanks :) and this only expresses my ideas and thoughts
