We chose Heredia primarily for the cooler temperatures about 70 degrees in the morning and almost always sunny rising in the afternoon to the mid80rsquos then cooling again with the afternoon rain http://www.travelblog.org//Central-America-Caribbean/Costa-Rica/Heredia/blog-174291.html so we headed out to the pacific coast into the deepest jungle we could get to without a helicopter. well that's not exactly true but we did put our almostnew rental through hell it held up inthe mountains i think more than 8000ft and the hotjungle mud slides unpaved roads with dips 3 feet deepand boulders every few feet and on the road fromdominical to quepos which was described to us as http://www.travelblog.org//Central-America-Caribbean/Costa-Rica/Puntarenas/Jaco/blog-110153.html Yep we're here. It's been just over a week and we are still pinching ourselves and just figuring out where we are.
