Hi everyone from the city of angelsWe tried posting a blog the other day but i think the internet died so it didn't work so here is a summaryWe're on the final countdown to when we depart Thailand to head back to England Kelly wahhhhhhhh. We've made all the final preparations we've just arrived from an overnight bus from Chiang Mai. It was ok except it smelt a bit like poo blame Kelly http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-428801.html Swinging in the jungle Hi all following on from our last blog we have been today to the waterfalls near Luang Prabangwhich was amazing There is one big waterfall and the rest were smaller pools that were a really nice green colour and there were fish that nibbled your toesIt was really nice to be able to have fun without all the health and safety laws even though it was a bit dangerous... We left Hanoi to journey to Vinh which is closer to the border with Laos. We only spent a night at Vinh as it was only a stopover really so in the morning we started our 8 hour journey to Vientiane pronounced as Veeenteeen or Veeenchen for the locals.The noticeable difference between Vietnam and Laos is the busyness. No one honks their horn and things seem a lot more laid back here. A journey down the Mekong So we left off yesterday saying that were were off to the Mekong Delta to another homestay This one proved to be a luxury homestay compared with our other one we think the host family were wealthier as it had real toilets and showersWe drove to the Mekong Delta from Saigon which took about 2 12 hours and went over a massive suspension bridge across the river... the view was pretty dramatic. http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Vietnam/Mekong-River-Delta/blog-420540.html We have another homestay This is just a quick note to let everyone know that we're okay in Saigon and are leaving today for a homestay in the Mekong delta But tomorrow we will be back in Saigon and hopefully able to do a proper entry to let you know how it was. Squat Toilets From Here On Out Today is our last day at the Anantara Resort and Spa here in Koh Samui... It is almost 10 o clock and we are heading off at half 11. We have had a great time here relaxing and have both got a bit of a tan which is good...
