Alex N - Alex Narracott

Alex Narracott Welcome to my second attempt to keep an online record of my South American wanderings. So the first one has disappeared into cyberspace, lets hope this one lasts! You currently find me where I left off: in NW Ecuador working for a conservation and development organisation who enjoy picking fights with loggers, where I pretend that I know what Im doing and that I can speak the language. Its certainly taken me to some interesting places, and Im sure there is more to come....

Please do send your thoughts, love or abuse. You can catch up with me, and whats in my head, but Id love to know where you are at too.

The first one came when I first visited the Afro community of Playa de Oro, one of the communities we work with to help develop their tourism enterprise. I had visited a few other communities before, but only for a few hours and with others from Kumanii, so this was the first time I was going to stay with them, and alone. I happened to choose [View Full Entry]
