The Romantic Adventure's of Chuck & Leila - From: Back to Quintana Roo
Chuck & Leila, I really enjoy reading your blogs and the stories you are telling about the places you are visiting. It seems to me that at some point down the road will come a novel written by Leila about the Life & Times of Leila & Chucks Adventure's south of the border. And I could visualize it including a bit of the romance you experiance on these journey's, whether it be with the border guards, the locals, the fire ants or each other..........<-:).

bringing the sun - From: The Biggest Oaxacan Ruins and Tree
We are having a great time in Mexico. Spending Christmas at Playa Zipolite. Day after Christmas we will head into Chiapas. And, of course, we will do our best to bring home the sun. Shouldn´t be too difficult, and actually appropriate considering winter followed us all the way to Arkansas on our way down.

Minnesota happenings - From: Cuota from Tehuacan to Oaxaca
Hi guys, Chuckie cut his arm the day you guys left, I'm taking out his 25+ stitches tomorrow and his still has all his limbs so all is well there LOL! Ben and Kirsten miss you both, and their mom. I stopped at the apartment the other day and they jumped in my arms with questions: where's my mom? where's my gram-ma Leila? where's my gram-pa? We played, I tucked them in, and checked Chuckie's arm for gangrene - just kidding. In Hibbing, we are in the midst of a blizzard with up to 14" of snow. School's likely to be closed tomorrow which means Jim gets to stay home and I have to take the Jeep to the psych ward. The Rents are coming over Wed. for Gma's Taco's to celebrate Jim's birthday, we're inviting Chuckie, Dani and all too. Love the photos! Safe Travels! Marmie

~A different view~ - From: Mexico Journeys
As friends of Chuck and Leila, my husband and I have had many wonderful experiences with this couple. We learned so much about the Yucatan, of its culture, different smells, food, people, and hospitality from them. We were always welcome and had a nice feeling at the end of the day. The pictures on here explain about their heritage and where they came from, how they evolved to who they are now., still a growing culture and proud of themselves. When I saw the pictures on here it brought back memories of a nice feeling and to have shared this with our very good friends. Always a great memory, Nikki
