From 29/4/ to 15/5 is my small country in the middle of Europe becoming a real hockey republic. Months and weeks before this date, everything is turning to hockey-friendly. You switch your television and ads are everywhere. Everything from fizzy drinks, to mobile operators to supermarkets is using hockey as an interesting advertising idea. Sentences like Our hearts beat for hockey, Slovakia, let´s go, Our guys will won, We are crossing fingers for you, Our hockey players are the best...are trying to impress us. Two biggest Slovak cities – Bratislava and Košice are getting cleaned, hotels are almost full-booked, taxi players are learning English. We simply wanna represent the country in the best way.
