| 18th August 2007 Ake_och_Emma | ...or maybe it was devils and demons... - From: Hell ...or maybe I accidentally left the gates to Hell wide open when I published the entry and devils and demons crawled out and swarmed over Travelblog and blackened all the photos... |
| 17th August 2007 Ake_och_Emma | The photos were black for a few hours - From: Hell The photos on Travelblog were all black for a few hours. But now they should be back again. Have a look! Ake |
| 16th August 2007 Malte Malaria & Ebbe Ebola | Is it dark in Hell? - From: Hell Just wonder were the photos are... or is it black in Hell? Maybe we should go there to enhance the situation for the inhabitants... make life more worth terrifying, for them and the for tourists, of course! |
| 13th August 2007 Reskaninen | Me too :-) - From: Trondheim Indeed, I went there too, but took different pictures :-) Very nice town, I must say. Since links are stripped here, no use of putting the direct link here, but it's on my travelblog. |
| 30th July 2007 Caroline E | - From: Venezuela part VI - the end of our trip Vilken fantastisk resa. |
The water in Sapo waterfall has been coloured by a substance called Tannin. Tannin is abundant in plants and trees around there. Especially the Bonnetia tree is very rich on Tannin. The colouring is actually even more dramatic than what you can see in the pictures. The water actually reminds very much of Coca-Cola. |

| 10th July 2007 Reskaninen | Lite avis - From: Venezuela part V - The Angel Falls Coolt ställe! Mineraler? Jord bland vattnet? |
| 9th July 2007 Harvey Follender | We survived the flight between Addis Ababa and Jinka - From: Venezuela part V - The Angel Falls Hey, we survived the flight between Addis Ababa and Jinka in Ethiopia and since then nothing can scare us... I KNOW what you mean !!!!! I was with you. |

| 4th July 2007 Harvey Follender | Golden era of American car industry - From: Venezuela part IV - Petrol and cars I enjoyed seeing the cars. I haven't seen so many American cars in years. |
| 4th July 2007 Peter Weiss | Thirsty Cars - From: Venezuela part IV - Petrol and cars Some of those car models you photographed aren't all that thirsty compared to many American cars. Of course, to someone from Sweden they are all awful, but actually some of these older ones got better mileage than you'd think. What is really awful is that the newer ones often get worse mileage than the old ones. Look around at all the Hummers in Venezuela, they are truly terrible. And they're not even real HumVees, they are Yukons tricked out to look like HumVees. Just stupid plastic imitations that do nothing but suck gas. But as long as gas is cheaper than water in V., they will drive them. |
| 3rd July 2007 Hanna | Grattis!!!

| 7th June 2007 Peter Håkansson | Interesting - From: Hill of Crosses Hi Åke (and Emma)! Long time, no seen. It´s always interesting reading about your travels. Thank you for sharing them with me and my fellow earthlings :-) Actually I've been as far away as Stavanger this year... Going to Toscana in August though. Have rented a house there together with nine friends. Looking forward to visiting Firenze, sunbathing by the house's pool and enjoying visits at the local wineyards. Have it! :-) |

| 1st March 2007 Irene | Gratulerar(?) - From: The Gorges are Gorgeous Gôtt att du fick sett en del innan det dränktes helt, iaf! |

Take care and keep truckin'......... Cheers, Ken |
| 11th January 2007 Irene | Al-quaida - From: Yemen part IV - The south and the west Actually, Al-qaida only means "the Grammar", which is the way of leading your life, so it's nothing strange with that. And "taliban" means student :-) Talking of coffee, I've got a stash in the freezer waiting for your arrival. |

| 5th January 2007 Janine | Thank you!! - From: Yemen - Part III Great stories and great pics. I am a friend of the Follenders and have enjoyed staying informed of all of your adventures!! Have safe travels home. |

| 2nd January 2007 alice | - From: Yemen - Part III Ake: I feel like I've been visiting Yemen, without the dust! thank you. I can't wait for the next installment. You have a real gift with words, considering english isn't your first language. |
| 31st December 2006 alice | - From: Yemen part II - Wadi Hadramawt what can you tell us about the women in Yemen? How about photos of harvey and Ivan? What are you eating and what are your sleeping arrangements? Keep up the journal; it's great. |
| 28th December 2006 Happy Home | Enlightened - From: Yemen part II - Wadi Hadramawt I'm not sure why one would consider rude sharing with a fellow traveller a factor of some import bearing upon their travel. The explanations and the photos together are a learning experience. I knew almost nothing about Yemen, and now, just a bit more. There was a time when N. Yemen was aligned with the west. I wonder if you see any evidence of the former alliances. So far, you've said almost nothing about the people (except for the bedouin) -- I'm thinking about Harvey's holiday card. I'm looking forward to more of this fascinating travelog. Btw, I didn't get the point of the "emergency" travel documents. Obviously, y'all made it in country. Take care. |
| 28th December 2006 Aleso | Thanks - From: Why play things safe... Ake, thanks for creating and writing the blog. My uncle Harvey is great at sending a postcard (post trip) but we never get the real story! |
| 27th December 2006 Marita och Åke | Fortsatt "god tur" - From: Why play things safe...
- From: Why play things safe... Snyggt jobbat!! Maria, Daniel o Axel |
| 25th December 2006 Ove Dahllof | Jul. - From: Why play things safe... |
| 24th December 2006 Emma | GOD JUL - From: Why play things safe... /Emma |
| 24th December 2006 Peter Weiss | Hooray Yemen - From: Why play things safe... I think it's great how helpful and friendly all the Yemeni authorities have been in facilitating your visit to their country. I am sure you will have the best time there. Sadly, a self-described "Swedish dork without a passport or visa" would never be able to come to the USA under such circumstances, though there are many of us who are working to change that. Have a wonderful trip! |
| 24th December 2006 Bruce Martin | Wow - What a Writer - From: Why play things safe... Ake, You did a great job in describing your travel paper circumstances. You should consider writing a article about your trip for a magazine like "Outside" or the "mens Journal". You are a very gifted author. Really looking forward to more comments. Keep up the great work. |
| 18th December 2006 Mats A | I al qaidas spår - From: Welcome to Emma's and Ake's webblogg Yemen!?Var det inte därifrån de långskäggiga attackerade ett amerikanskt krigsskepp? Mats |
