Many mountains are apparently within viewing distance.

Over a holiday weekend, two friends (known individually as Garrett and Craig) and I headed to Lake Chelan, Washington for a three day backpacking extravaganza. (Chelan is pronounced, by us, in a multitude of ways but the correct way is Sha-LAN , with the second syllable rhyming with "can."
