| 19th June 2008 megan | Moving to Amoribieta - From: Living In Basque Country Hi, I'm moving to The Basque Country at the end of next year with my boyfriend who is from there. I am currently working as a nurse in the UK and my spanish is poor. I have tried to research jobs but it seems that being a nurse over there is out of the question as I can't find any info about nursing agencies that deal with ex pats and there doesn't seem to be a lot of work. I just wondered if you knew of anyone over there working as a nurse and the best way to go about it? I'm thinking of doing the TEFL training so I could teach english. Also I want to go to school to learn spanish when I am there. Are the classes in english or spanish? And lastly are there many other english people there. I didn't meet any when I was over on hols. I just got stared at by everyone like you! Thanks. Any advice would be great. |

| 28th April 2006 GolfDude | Continents - From: Living In Basque Country They think there are 5 and they call themselves continentals? Are these the same people who paid a crazy Italian to sail off the edge of the world thinking he would never come back and they wouldn't have to give him any more money? Imagine how shocked they were when he came back! Mobile homes are great except for the tornado deal! (Ask a Midwesterner!) Glad to hear things are well! |

| 15th December 2005 Lauren | Yay Assisi - From: The hills are alive with the sound of St. Francis It's good to see some more pictures of Assisi! I was there in May and I've lost all my pictures from the trip! Half of my group stayed at Casa Papa Giovanni's and the other half, me included, stayed at the hotel just down the street--Hotel Posta Panoramica? I loved the quiet town and the beautiful Church of St. Francis, and the Rocca Maggiore! We were there in time for the Corpus Christi Mass which was insane! There was a medieval festival and then the mass at night, then a procession into the piazza. It was amazing! Glad to see you had fun too! Happy Travels, Lauren |
