Our Hostel. It was out of town, but it was right next to a chocolate factory. The Outlet sold ˝Lom˝čhocolade, ie 'broken' chocolate, or seconds. I have been listening, for nearly the last three hours, to Bob Dylan. It is because the free internet at my hostel is right next to the bar, and alternative scene in Ljubjlana means, aparently, Bob Dylan. Or the Barman's a nut. One or the other. Ah, the first, --and most ignored--, words of Italian I learnt in Italy. Actually, now I can say that I have truly rounded my knowledge of Italian Nouns. I have fifty or so for dining out, still my five medical words (does capella count?), and now I know about a hundred to do with religious icons. Round up of Italy: If I see another mediaval fresco of Madonna Col Bambino, I will scream. Ok. Windows Unexpectedly closed, and I just lost about an A4 page of writing. But that's probably a good thing, as far as you're concerned. summary: Milano: Nasty, dirty city, didn't much like. Verry Hassley. Get the impression that there is a large gap between the rich and the poor. Il Duomo was impressive. Pity we felt we had to stop looking at it every few seconds to make sure we weren't being pick-pocketed. I met some wonderful people, Vilija has been sooo lucky to have met such nice people here. Oh yes, absolutely crazy. That about sums it all up. Firstly, I will apologise for the lack of pictures. I will make it up when I am on a computer that wasnàt built before the last Ice Age. Well, After the Grand Tour of Uluru, the rest of my time is, in tourism terms, a bit of a slow, soft let down. I didn't leave the township much after that weekend. The evenings were taken up with various extracurriular activities with the rest of the hospital staff.
