| 13th March 2008 Warren Olson | - From: Mt.Kenya, etc Glad you made it to Nairobi fine. Southern Ethiopia sounds pretty fascinating. I've mostly read things about Ethiopia north of Addis but did recently read a book on African Ceremonies which featured the tribe with the lip plates and the one with the bull jumping ceremony - so very interesting. Did you travel in convoy from the border to Marsabit? It was just west of Marsabit on the road to Lake Turkana that my truck (local, not Drago) got attacked by bandits in 2001. Hope it continues to be fun. I'm busy planning my next travels. Warren |
| 12th March 2008 Sonya | - From: Elephants, Giraffe, Zebra etc. Wow! These sure beat the bear we saw this summer! |

I'm sure your first half has gone just as fast. When you guys get back, lets go for wings and beers at the Regal Begal. That will cure what ails the weary traveller. Take care! Scott & Linds |

| 6th December 2007 Ann | Hair - From: Fun with facial hair My vote is for the original |
| 5th December 2007 Jim Szpajcher | Facial Hair - From: Fun with facial hair Really, I felt the "Porn Star" look has a real Cheech Marin (Born in East L.A.) look to it. It gets my vote - whatever movie theme one is renting. I'd expect no less from a server at Taco Bell. "Trailer trash" reminds me of some Western. I'd recommend a brace of Colt Peacemakers, slung low, with a wide brimmed hat and perhaps crossed bandoliers... On the other hand, the full beard has a sort of Middle Eastern look to it, and with so much happening there, I'd call it the "Current Affairs" style. Thanks for the in-depth presentation on shaving. :-) |
