Birthday in Turks Caicos June 2011

My travel buddy and I decided to celebrate my Birthday in Providencials Turks Caicos. It was good to go offseason because prices are a bit better and the beaches were barely inhabited. But also the down side is there are more tropical storms brewing in the summer months. We did have allot of cloudy days and rain but it didn39t dampen our spirits pun intended we went swimming anyways

Exploring Egypt Stepping Back In Time OCT 2008

Talk about Culture shock Wow. Cairo is a city that never sleeps. Traffic honking horns cars double parked...and at the same time you see donkeys with carts...women carrying sacks or water jugs on their heads. In many ways I felt as though I had stepped several decades..or centuries.. back in time. If not for the tons of cars and highrise buildings Before we even arrived in Cairo the staff

Living it Up in Lima

We weren't suppossed to end up in Lima but because we didn't get on our flight....we decided to make the best of it by spending a day in Lima. We stayed in the Miraflores area and we were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful views of the Cliffs and the ocean. Watching the the Paragliders sail off the cliffs high above us was really exciting to see........until we decided to try it ourselves

It was really amazing to see Machu Picchu in person after seeing it so many times in Travel Magazines. You just can't beleive it until you see it with your very own eyes. The weather was perfect not too warm and not too chilly....it was great just making our way through this amazing place discovering all the things we had read about in our travel guide. Seeing this structure for ourselves. I'm s

Cusco One Of The Highest Cities in The World Nov 2007

Cusco which is 11151 feet above the level of the sea has allot of diversity with a European feel. Have lunch on the balcony of one the many resturants overlooking the Main Square and people watch...see the colorful clothing the school children in their uniforms the old man on the park bench. Then explore the many Museuems and Grand Churches.
