Well today was an adventure... I have developed a lump on my gumline so I needed to be seen by a dentist. I had an appointment with Dr. J.P. Harrison BDS CML Building Ste 1203 Sydney, 2000 Phone 9232 3337. I cannot thank him enough. If anyone ever needs a dentist while in Sydney, I strongly suggest him! He is very very kind. He examined my mourth, took an exray and set an appoinment with an endonist with in 30 minutes. On top of this he did not charge for his services. I just thought I would take a minuet to say: Jennie the perfectionist is on holiday. => I am typing my blog while the thoughts are processing so there are sure to be lots of errors. This lake is absolutekly the most amazing color! The water comes straight from the glacier and is tuquoise color. We spent the day BBQing and relaxing. It was quite an experience cooking with people from 8 other countries. We all had "our own" way of doing things. In the end it all worked out ok. I met a woman from Germany (Suzanne) whio is studying in Austrailia. She has invited me to stay at her home in melbourne. not sure whether or not I'll make it there. Today We spent a long day on the bus. I made two new friends from California. Cheryl and Courtney. We spent the day debating whether or not to bungee jump in Queentown. Queenstown is actually where bungee was developed. Two Kiwis started it. Its awesome here the scenery is amazing. We did however decide not. We had decided to go skydiving in stead but the winds were too heavy so they said no. Oh well this is my third attempt now to skydive and each time has been the same. Today I spent the day with Zack from San Diego and Melissa from Sydney we wandered the town of Dunedin. Its a cute college town on the waterfront. We found a fundrazor( actually spelled like this) for the cancer foundation. People had decided to raise maoney and have their heads shaved for the cancer research foundation. THe mc was hysterical. He was really awful, he had no tact whatsoever. I felt bad for the people he was interviewing. We were continuingly laughing. Poor guy. IT seems a lot of guys travel by hitchhiking. Today I hopped on the Magic bus and aspent the day in franz Joseph. This is a very beautiful town. Nestled in a rain forest but surrounded by glaciers. It was Awesome! I met a friend Jaycee from Canada and rather than taking a hiking tour we decided to do it on our own. It was great1 We ignored the warning signs and proceeded with caution. Today I rode tghe Transalpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth. It was absolutely beautiful! New Zealand is so diverse. I love it here. Greymouth is a cute little town on the Tasman sea. I had a little picnic lunch on the water and spent the day wandering. Tomorrow I join the Magic Bus. I can hop on and off this bus as I want to. I arrived in Christchurch last night. I was tired as it was 10 at night and agreed to pay the shuttle driver $17 to take me to my hostel. I sat waiting to leave when he made a deal with three guys going to the same hostel as I was $8 per person. I was too tired to question him, but once we arrived he charged me $17 even after I questioned him. Ugh! I felt ripped off but I have now learned $17 is the rate. You live and learn....
